Helpful Notes for Couples/Marriage/Relationships

When creating a profile for the first time, users can link a partner immediately:

  1. When prompted with “Are you booking for yourself or someone else?”, select “someone else.”

  2. Enter the partner’s first name, last name, and email.

  3. Define the relationship as “Partner” or “Spouse.”

  4. Optionally check “Will you be paying on this person’s behalf?” to share saved credit cards.

If your profile already exists, follow these steps in the My Account Portal to add a Family Member:

  1. Log in to the clinic’s online booking site and go to My Account.

  2. Select the Family Members tab, left sidebar.

  3. Click Add Family Member.

  4. Enter the “partner” or “spouse” first name, last name and email. Set specific permissions (permissions are optional).

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Ingrid Osland, MSW, RSW is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist. Her Private Practice, Discover Counselling Services provides therapy in Mississauga, Ontario.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. You might be dealing with anxiety, relationship conflict, or burnout and feeling stuck, emotionally drained, or unsure of how to move forward. Even day-to-day tasks can start to feel like too much. Many people come to counselling wanting to better understand what’s happening, why certain patterns keep showing up, and how to begin making meaningful change.

I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and feel heard. Together, we’ll explore what you’re going through, make sense of your experiences, and build practical tools to help you move forward with more clarity and confidence.

I work with couples, teens (14+), post-secondary students, and adults. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and integrating trauma and attachment-informed perspectives. For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support stronger connection, improved communication, and repair hurts. Whether you’re navigating something specific or looking for deeper understanding and change, you don’t have to do it alone.

If this feels like a good fit, you’re welcome to book a session when you’re ready.
